Summary:
The Operations Coordinator is responsible for managing a small selection of parts in customers’ systems/applications. This role involves manually sorting and assembling various types of labels, operating a variety of digital printing equipment, operating machinery, and assisting with facility and warehouse tasks.
This position coordinates activities concerned with operations by performing the following duties.
Key Responsibilities:
Parts Management:
- Manage small selection of parts in customer systems for suppliers, ensuring accuracy of orders and shipments.
- Work with Launch Manager to ensure smooth workflow for production.
Material Handling & Inventory:
- Transport, sort, and organize materials or items on racks, shelves, or bins based on size, type, or product code.
- Record, weigh, or count items to ensure distribution accuracy and company standards compliance.
- Use computer systems to log material records and compile work tickets from customer specifications.
- Drive vehicles to transport items between warehouses, production, and shipping areas as needed.
- Monitor stock levels, replenish supplies, and ensure alignment with production needs.
Process Improvement:
- Identify operational bottlenecks and recommend process or equipment improvements.
- Ensure all tasks align with quality standards, procedures, and company goals.
General Support:
- Assist in all operational areas as needed and fulfill special assignments directed by management.
- Oversee clear documentation, maintain updated reference materials, and ensure accurate recordkeeping for internal and customer requirements.
Skills & Qualifications:
- To perform this job successfully, an individual should have basic knowledge of operating computers.
- Current Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
