Project Manager
This role is responsible for managing customer projects from initiation through completion. The
position ensures timely execution, quality compliance, and accurate billing, while serving as the
primary liaison between customers and internal teams.
Responsibilities
- Project Management
- Oversee and schedule customer projects, ensuring on time delivery and
alignment with customer expectations. - Monitor project progress and validate deliverables against customer
requirements. - Collaborate with IT, operations, and production teams to evaluate project
feasibility, scope, timing, and costs. - Develop and maintain project timelines, documentation, and status trackers for all
active workstreams.

- Act as the primary point of contact for customers, facilitating clear and timely
communication. - Conduct status meetings and provide updates on project milestones and
deliverables. - Prepare and maintain customer-specific work instructions and sample books.
- Support the creation of RFQs, Statements of Work, and purchase orders as
needed.

- Quality Assurance
- Partner with the Quality Manager to support processes such as PPAP, IMDS,
SREA, FMEA, and Control Plans. - Assist in resolving internal and external quality issues using 8D methodology.
- Communicate corrective actions to customers and ensure resolution across
relevant departments. - Maintain accuracy of production part data in coordination with customers and
internal teams.
- Partner with the Quality Manager to support processes such as PPAP, IMDS,
- Materials & Accounting Coordination
- Collaborate with Operations, Quality, Warehouse, and Accounting on material
needs, stock levels, and new material sourcing. - Support inventory planning by confirming material requirements and stock
accuracy. - Assist with internal item creation and purchase order processing.
- Coordinate with customers and Accounting to manage billing, ASN status, and
collections for delinquent accounts.

Skills & Qualifications
- Technical Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Visio, Project).
- Familiarity with ERP, ASN platforms, and web-based portals like COVISINT is a plus.
- Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Customer Service, Project Management, or Status
Reporting. - Background in IT project management experience preferred.
- Automotive supply chain or related business applications are a strong advantage.
- Physical Requirements
- Primarily a desk-based role requiring regular communication.
- Must be able to sit for extended periods and work on a computer.
- Requires close vision for reading and reviewing detailed project documentation.
